Marib, Yemen – 2023
A delegation from the Accept International Organization visited the headquarters of the Smile Development Foundation during 2023, led by the organization’s Executive Director. The delegation was welcomed by the Secretary-General of the Foundation, where they discussed a range of vital topics related to youth rehabilitation, possible future interventions by the organization, and exploring local partnership opportunities with the Foundation.
The meeting began with a warm welcome from the Secretary-General to the visiting delegation, praising the efforts of the Accept International Organization in supporting local communities and promoting sustainable development. The Secretary-General also presented a comprehensive overview of the projects and activities of the Smile Development Foundation, highlighting the challenges they face in providing support to the most needy groups in the community.
The Executive Director of the Accept International Organization emphasized the importance of joint cooperation between international and local organizations to achieve common development goals. He expressed the organization’s readiness to provide technical and financial support for youth rehabilitation projects in Yemen, pointing out the significant potential for future interventions that the organization can implement in partnership with the Smile Development Foundation.
At the end of the visit, both sides reaffirmed their commitment to enhancing cooperation and exchanging expertise to achieve sustainable development and serve the Yemeni community. They agreed to continue meetings and dialogue to identify practical steps for implementing joint projects in the near future.
