Marib, Yemen – 2022

The Smile Development Foundation implemented the “Dawoohom” health project in Marib Governorate, targeting several health centers, people with disabilities, and children in need of medical care. This project is part of the foundation’s ongoing efforts to improve the quality of healthcare and support the most vulnerable groups in Yemeni society.

Several health centers in Marib Governorate benefited from the project by receiving oxygen cylinders essential for treating patients. This contribution will help improve the medical services provided and better meet the patients’ needs. Additionally, the project provided wheelchairs and crutches to people with disabilities, and prosthetic limbs were fitted for some of them, helping to enhance their quality of life and mobility.

For children, the project offered medical examinations and consultations, along with providing necessary medications to treat fevers and other illnesses. The project aims to provide comprehensive healthcare for children and enhance their overall health, contributing to the development of a healthy and strong generation capable of facing future challenges.

The Smile Development Foundation expressed its gratitude and appreciation to all who contributed to the success of the “Dawoohom” project, including volunteers and supporters. They emphasized the importance of continuing these efforts to ensure the necessary healthcare is provided to the neediest groups in the community
